Parish Council Office
Jane Thomson is our Parish Clerk and Financial Officer. She is the Council’s principal officer, responsible for the day-to-day administration, management and financial affairs of the Parish Council. The role supports councillors in delivering services to the community, ensures that Council meetings are properly organised and administered, and helps ensure that all legal, statutory and financial responsibilities are met. Acting as a key point of contact for residents, partners and stakeholders, the Clerk and Financial Officer plays an important role in supporting the effective governance and smooth operation of the Council.
The Parish Clerk Surgery takes place monthly from 2pm – 4pm on the same day as the Parish Council meeting, in the Reading Room of Hapstead Hall. This is an opportunity for residents to raise any concerns or ask questions.
Meeting dates can be found here (Please note: there are no surgeries during the January and August holidays.)
