Traffic Appraisal

This study was commissioned by the Parish Council, supported by West Sussex County Council and local business organisations. The objectives of the study are to help residents regain ownership of the streets. The unique character of the village should be immediately recognised by all who enter, visit and pass through, developing Ardingly’s “spirit of place”. Fresh ideas are intended to influence driver behaviour, reduce speed while strengthening the local distinctiveness of the village. The study shows ways to enhance the village heritage and character.

Comments are invited on the draft report which was  approved by Ardingly Parish Council for consultation, 14th May 2013.
